I used to be Belgian and I did not know all the misery the man went through before he could invent the saxophone.

Well, I didn't know he was Belgian. I learned something new today.

I just found a web site (probably for kids) with some more weird stuff on him

https://spotlightenglish.com/biography/the-strange-life-of-adolphe-sax/

Another article states that he died in poverty, and that composers like Saint-Saens and Massenet intervened so he would not starve!

Well it reads that he was born in 1814. Belgium only came to be in 1830. I suppose he was in fact French LOL. But Belgium adopted him eagerly

Neither did I! A new personal hero!

Pride is a sin. The worst, perhaps.

Despair is a sin. Perhaps, the worst.

One day I realized I hadn't felt despair for a whole week, and then felt pride about that. Then I was despairing because there was still pride in my heart. Then I took one psychoactive drug (one of these: coffee, wine, bread, sugar) and my circle became a parabola. Gluttony and sloth are the most underrated home remedies.

I must be a Very Bad Person because the one the made me laugh the hardest was the Raytheon meme. Nuclear annihilation will be so much better now because it will be very diverse and inclusive. In fact, Tom Lehrer wrote a song in the 1950s about this: We Will All Go Together When We Go, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frAEmhqdLFs

I'm leaning towards the mouse.

As my first thought was, "Oh, like taking Hobbit(s) on a quest, make just as little sense....and yet we know how that worked out.""""

Wonderful collection Rat!

Did you know that eating cheese activates the same regions of the brain as doing hard drugs?

Explains much.
